Unlike many other solar companies at Greensaver Solar, we do not quote your valuable investment over the internet. We take the trouble to visit your property and make a proper evaluation of not only your power consumption and usage patterns but also the structure and condition of the building the commercial solar installation is to be installed on.
We look at your electrical switchboard so you can rest assured there will be no nasty surprises on the day of installation. In most cases, any modifications to old switchboards will be done at no cost to you, as after all, we are fully qualified electricians. How can you rely on any company that will not take the trouble to do this most basic step in order to get the job done right? Don’t forget this is one of the biggest investments that you will make in your business and it is important that it is done right the first time, every time.
After this important first step, a fully qualified solar designer will design a system to suit your power demands, premises construction and budget. All details will be discussed informing you of complex issues such as feed-in tariffs, buyback time and suggested configuration and size.
In some rare cases, a commercial solar system may not be worthwhile when the savings are not substantial enough to warrant it. If this is the case, we have no qualms in telling you this as we want only customers who are happy with the final result. We would rather lose a sale than gain an unhappy customer.
If you decide to go ahead, we will apply to the power distributor in your area to gain pre-approval before any work begins. Of course, if on any rare occasion approval is not granted, any deposit will be refunded in full immediately.
A mutually convenient date will then be agreed upon and we will turn up on time on the day and in most cases, the solar system will be completely installed that day. We will then complete any relevant paperwork for your retailer and arrange the inspection from an Energysafe electrical inspector. Once the certificate of compliance is issued, all paperwork will be forwarded to your retailer on your behalf and your feed-in tariff organised for you.
